I want to make a teacup pincushion using wool roving. Does anyone have a pattern?

Anything that says Wool I have to stay away from due to allergies but I'd be interested in finding out what roving is.

You can buy wool roving from some of the knitting stores, my quilt shop carries it, also online, or make your own from spinning wool from sheep into roving and you can also dye the wool.

Crafty Bear's links will give you more details, but wool roving is the raw/basic wool fibers before they are woven into fabric....it's the "stuff" that spinners spin into yarn.
