Never thought I would say that, but found out last month that our friend"s son is gettin married this Sept. They live in the US & will be coming here in June. In my ufo's I had Magic Tile Blocks already made, so have been madly sewing them together for a queen size quilt. It will be ready for them to take back with them to give it at the wedding. Workded out well since I don't have to start from scratch, which would not have been done in time.

They can be great when you are broke or unwilling to purchase new fabrics. I have finished up 3 in the last month. Yay me!

With the cost of fabric going so high, I think we'll all being finishing up more of our UFOs.

I just pulled out some UFO blocks from a batik 9 patch swap I did online back in 2003!!!!
They are going to be my uncles 80th birthday quilt! |
