All this talk about the rotary blades. I had ordered some from Harbor Freight, and went to check the status of my order and it says SHIPPED!! I checked my bank balance and they have not taken anything out yet so I assume this is just recent. Letting all those on back order, that their shipments should be soon

OHHHH Thank you for the reminder I stupidly ran over a staple in a piece a fabric I had not idea was there and nicked my last brand new yes only 2 weeks old blade!!! But with your kind Yippee I checked my order and it was shipped last week of all things!!!!

I found them in stock at my local Harbor Freight. I'm amazed at how much sharper they seem to be. Now if I can only avoid running over pins they may last longer!

Okay, someone let me in on the secret here. what is this Harbor Freight, and why do so many of you order from them?

EagarBeez 08-18-2010 05:11 AM

They sell carpet blades that fit round holed 45mm rotary cutters. 2 in a package for $1.49. They are said to last longer and sharper

Harbor Freight is "guy" store that sells tools and such.

Thanks ya'll I need some new blades for 3 rotary cutters and been putting off getting them as everytime I go to JoAnn's to get then with my coupon they are on sale and can't use my coupon. I have a harbor frieght just a mile from here so I will go look and if not order on line.

Not always ;-) I'm a girly girl and my second hobby is woodworking. I buy a lot of things there too. It's a great store for good bargins.
