Are you making quilted Christmas skirts? Let's Chit Chat!

I have one that my sister made a long time ago but it has a ruffle and I really don't like ruffles. I've used it for about 15-20 years now and I want a new one. I bought a package of 9 degree rulers and want to use that to make one with swirls. Then again, I have some prequilted preprinted ones upstairs...... And I have 6 quilts to make before Christmas.

How's your DH doing? Is he home yet?

I made one last year for my main tree, and I want to make one more full-size one, plus about three mini's for the smaller trees.

I have been thinking about making a few but I don't want to have to buy a new ruler to do it. I am sure there are a lot of patterns out there, I just haven't researched it yet. I still have some other sewing to do first. :-D
I am glad to hear your DH is making progress.

Not this year! I have made about 6 of them using the spiral method. A lot of work but worth effort.

I tried to open that one but it wanted to down load so did not see it but I am thinking if it is using the 9 or 10 degree ruler that pattern is the one I used for mine. I love 'em and it makes 2 at ones time but they are fun but a lot of work.

As long as your angles add up to 360 degrees you can use any ruler you like. I like the 60/30 on my standard ruler wich gives me 6 wedges @60 degrees each.
