Your Must Have Tools...
Hi!
What are your MUST HAVE tools for Quilting & Sewing? With me it's Acrylic Templates, Sharp Sciccors, and shelf liner to keep tmplates or rulers from slipping on the material as I cut. Oh yes, and sharp Omnigrid rotary cutter. ~ Susan :) |
I love my June Tailor slotted rulers. And also my 6-1/2 x 24 ruler. And my cordless iron. Olfa 60mm cutter is a must-have. Pointy bamboo stick, curvy little scissors, lots of little sharp seam rippers, pointy tweezers, Clover clips, Pinmoors, Elmer's glue, lint rollers, those clicky rolly chalk markers.....it just goes on!! I have a LOT of "must-have" tools!!
They ought to make sewing chests that look like pirate chests, because all this stuff is like treasure to me! LOL |
I love my Olfa clear rulers, Alto Cut 2, magnetic pin bow, my cutting table and sewing table made by my boyfriend.
|
My set of Creative Grid rulers. After using one, I went out and bought the others and replaced all my old rulers.
My 1/4" walking foot (built in accufeed foot) for piecing. My clover seam ripper which I BROKE today!!!! Urghhhhh!!! My Oliso iron ... that sucker is always hot. |
1/4 inch foot with guide!

work top space. I purchased a kitchen counter top and placed it on storage tables. Storage underneath and a large smooth surface.
|
Accuquilt Go! I would give up my sewing machine before that. I can always handsew the pieces together. A new sharp seam ripper. I get a new one when I have to tug on the thread to get it to cut the thread.
|
Stork scissors for seam ripping and my Sizzix Big Shot Pro used with Accuquilt dies.
