Default Problems when i get to last rows on little gracie 2.

I have been having problems when I get to the bottom (about the last few rows) on my queen size quilts with the thread getting under the presser foot and it will skip a thread about an inch long and then start sewing ok again. my friend said she thinks my last leader (the one you pin the top on) needs to be wider. has anyone else had this problem? and should i make the leader wider? Thanks for any info anyone can give me. I hope this makes sense.
Shirley

I have a fairly new Grace Majestic frame. I find that at the bottom, I can unpin my top and let it rest on the batting and backing - just float it as I do on the top. Would that be possible with your frame or does the top fabric not reach the top of the frame?

Joset, I am going to make mine wider, i don't know how much wider they need to be, how wide is the third rod on you're frame? I know i have the same setup you have. Thats the one i pin my top on and it really gets tight when I get to the bottom. Thanks Shirley

Are you adjusting the height of the bars so the quilt stays level?
