My step daughter wants to make her FIL a CW era quilt for using during his CW reenactments!
what block would you use? She wants me to draft it in EQ for her using the size requirements for his bunk.
All I can think of is the 54/40 or fight!

A friend of mine just recently did the civil war tribute quilt offered as a BOM from her LQS. Keepsake quilting offers it as well. Here is a link to a picture of the quilt. The quilt is gorgeous! I bet you could figure out most of those blocks or print it out and look for matches on quilters cache.

Barbara Brackman is currently doing a Civil War Block of the Week on her blog. You might want to check that out and see which pattern "talks" to you.
