Default Purple quilt for sara!

HELLO !! well, I am starting to get all the purples together and start figuring out what to do... I have not been on the website for a while as I have been busy with my mom with the doctors and errands .... I will keep you all posted and hopefully have some pictures tonight...

Yes, please post the purples. Love purples with greens and sometimes yellows. We just finished our "mom thing" today as she was released from in-home nursing care. YAY! Best wishes as you go through your "mom thing." :-)

I'm so excited to see them all together in one quilt! Does she know you're making it? or is it going to be a surprise?

My suggestion for monochromatic quilts is to use absolutely every fabric you find which is even remotely that color. The quilt will be gorgeous! For purples, use pinkish purples, cranberry redish purples, greyish purples, bluish purples, purples which are so light they are almost white, purples which are so dark they are almost black, etc.
