Years and years ago a stranger did a kindness for me. I tried to repay her but she said, "I have everything I'll ever need. Just pass it on." I've never forgotten that.

Yes random acts of kindness they are things to remember. I put on gas and got in line to pay. when I got there the gal said it was already paid. Of course there was no way I could find out or know who paid for it. So I have been passing it on for many years.
I just read a book on gratitude and also I am reading Love as a Way of Life. Really gets you to thinking.

It was indeed a great surprise, but quilters are usually a very generous, friendly group. Lucky you.
