Default Put your thinking hats on please? Pretty Please??

I have 3 weeks until my DD wedding. Last night my mother brings me, what I thought was a completed wedding signature quilt. Well I guess I have the top, batting and backing. Does that make it complete? NOT!!! Now I have to quilt it.....UGH!!
I know in the pink corner squares will be diagonal lines 1/2" apart for guests to sign their names on, instead of a guest registry book. I have no idea what to put in the rest of the quilt. I can do some really simple freehand designs with my LA by would really rather have some pattern to follow or better yet, a design for my QBot to just set it and watch it go.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to put in these 4 camo blocks or in the 4 borders, YES, 4 borders!! Borders are not my favorite thing to do at all. I always end up with too much fullness on one end or a side or both, heaven forbid. The back is the yellow/purple/brown blended fabric (not my favorite either) I would have put a camo backing on it since it is a camo themed wedding. What do you think?
I am thinking start in the middle and work my way to the outside on this one. But what designs to use............................................... ...

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Signatures will be hard to sign clearly if the quilt is layered with batting. What about backing the corner sections with freezer paper (which is the traditional way for signature quilts) and drawing lines with a Frixion pen so people know where to sign. You can quilt on the lines later. In my experience you are taking a risk having people sign on a completed top, rather than individual squares, but you gotta play the tune you have been given. Present the top only for signature and promise the couple it will be quilted later. As for the cammo sections I am thinking Cat 'o nine tails and grassy fronds.

Paulswalia's suggestion is very good because a firm surface is really needed for signing names on cloth. The freezer paper will help stablize the cloth blocks and keep them from stretching while the guests sign their names.

So what would I do to hide the raw edges during the signing?

Another suggestion would be to buy some more plain fabric for the guests to sign on (with freezer paper backing) and incorporate the signatures into the back of the quilt. Then, on the front squares you could embroider the date, place, bride and groom's name - things like that. Or put some nice applique there. People just aren't used to signing their names on fabric, and someone is likely to make a mess of it. You wouldn't want them to mess up the lovely quilt top.

I like the suggestion of having the guests sign squares for the backing. That way you can prepare the fabric with freezer paper and not be under the gun to get it quilted before the wedding.
