I have used regular Heat and Bond and sewn thru it. Yes, it did seem to gum up the needle a bit but that was easily fixed with an alcohol wipe. I was doing a project that I definitely did not want any of the pieces moving or coming loose later in the wash. I like your pattern. Must think about trying one of those for a charity quilt.

Oooooh, I like your quilt pattern. It has is wonderful in all sorts of ways. You introduced it as a baby quilt but I have an idea to use it for an adult quilt with appropriate sizing. I have been collecting purple bits for a few years and can't seem to find something to do with them that pleases me. Then your quilt joined my breakfast QB read. Going to dig out the "purple stash" and see what is to see. I think you have given me a winner. Thank you so much!

I think ink it Didn't! Try temporary spray adhesive, but unless you have it on hand, that probably will cost more than the wonder under would have.....sometimes our bright ideas, aren't so practical....I know, been there- done that-but learned....

What did you decide to do?
I'm interested in how it worked out for you and would love to see the finished top.

A simpler jigsaw puzzle quilt (no curves) is "Quilter's Puzzle", EQP0053, by www.eQuiltPatterns.com.

So, I used glue and got everything pieced together pretty quickly. Then I noticed that some of the 'tabs' were starting to fray a bit, so I ended up using Heat n Bond lite to seal it all down. It probably took me twice as long to do it after, than it would have if I had done it from the start. If I ever make this again, I will use the heat & bond lite before I cut the tabs. Another lesson learned on my quilting journey! I plan to start quilting it tomorrow. I'll post pics when done.
