I have 2 bolts of prequilted shimmery Christmas fabric, one red and one green, and I'm having a dickens of a time finding patterns for projects to use it up.

    Any suggestions?

Potholders, placemats, tablerunners, lapquilts, jackets, purses? I've never bought prequilted stuff so I really don't know. You might could find something in a quilt as you go design that would look nice with alternating blocks of the pq fabric.

Placemats and table runners - just cut and add binding

Wallhangings - just cut and add binding and maybe some applique like a tree with presents or a fireplace scene?

Chair pads - just cut and add binding and ties to hold in place

    Purses, bags

    :)

I make totes out of it. You make them exactly the way you do when you line them. Instead, I french seam the sides and finish of the ends of the straps before I stitch them onto the tote. You can get 2 out of a yard of fabric. I am getting ready to make them for one of the foster homes here.

I've made lots of snap bags with prequilted material.
