I saw on here where a member lost her photos when the computer crashed and she was shown by someone how to retrieve them. Does any one remember this post? Or if you know how. I use search but never find what I am looking for. LOL. Would like to be able to help her. over 12,000 pictures and the whole folder. Quilt pictures. OMgosh.....help please

Have you ever been using your digital camera and accidentally erased ALL the photos?

I did this about 3 years ago on our way home from our first (and only so far) cruise! Talk about disheartening! I was so upset! DH told me not to panic and not to take any more pictures. We were in the airport and I wanted to take more pictures, but didn't.

When we got home he looked up how to hopefully get them all back. IT WORKED! I was able to save 10 days worth of vacation photos.

I've never had to use it since, until I just sent the information to someone on QB and thought I'd share it here also.

First thing to do when you have erased all the photos --- STOP! Do NOT take another photo!

Then go to: http://www.cardrecovery.com/
Read through it until you find your type of camera card that needs recovery and follow the download and instructions.

I hope and pray no one has to use this, but just in case --- I hope this helps you as it did me.
Here it is just in case you want to keep the information.
