    After filling a bobbin, should one let it sit for a while and let the thread relax before using it? Usually fill 2-3 at a time, so it's a moot point for the 2nd and 3red bobbin, but what about the first one?

    never heard of waiting before, don't, but do fill more than one at a time - a real time saver, not to mention MUCH more convenient

    Bobbins are wound with tension so thread relaxing isn't a good thing. I started using Bobbin Genies in my metal bobbin case and it makes a difference. I have much fewer bobbin tangles or nests.
