    Usually 5 inches.

    charm sizes vary

    nickel charms are 5 inch squares, layer cakes are 10 in squares

    I collect 6.5 inch I Spy squares

    I have a collect of nickel, 5" squares, am now cutting 4" for my charm tumbler.
