    Question about glue basting.

I have done glue basting on warm and natural and it works wonderful. I have a top done and it has a lot of white in it so I am using white polyester batting (our JF doesn't carry white cotton batting in packages). I was wondering if anyone has done it on poly batting. Does the glue seep through? Or does it work the same as cotton. Thanks for your help.

It sort of just sits on the top of polyester batting, then seeps more into the cotton layer. At least, that's been my experience.

Be sure to only use Washable Glue, and wash your quilt when it's done, to remove the glue.

    Works great!

I only glue baste and have used it on a lot of different battings. I haven't had a problem with any of them.
    I love my life!

Be sure to use Elmer's. I used a cheap off-brand, didn't get it finished before a month, and the glue yellowed the fabric.
