I am using the monogram feature on this machine. I have read the manual and can't find in it everywhere how to make numbers. Can anyone help me? I just can't believe that you can't make numbers. Please help me. Thank you,

It's in the manual. I think you have to put 01 for 1, 02 for 2, etc. I'll see if I can find the page #.

I can't find it in the book but 01 is 1, 02 is 2 etc and 10 is zero.

btw I have read about other people having this trouble too (which is probably how I knew about it) and it's one of the reasons people are not happy with the quality of the 6600 manual.

Sorry. I couldn't find it in the manual-I looked on the plastic flippy thing that shows all the different stitches.

I agree - I love my 6600P, but the manual leaves so much out. I am a quilter so I don't care how many buttonhole styles there are on this machine! :-D I also am not happy with the way the buttonhole stitch works. I don't like the 3 little stitches before each zag. What's wrong with 1 stitch, 1 zag, 1 stitch, 1 zag, anyway? Fortunately I learned abour J. Michelle Watts method of open satin stitch applique, so I don't have to use the button hole stitch any more. She has the same machine. I wonder if she started appliqueing this way because of the 6600Ps stitch?

If you read pages 74-76, it will tell you about lettering. Numbers and letters work the same way. Don't lose the plastic guide or you're in trouble.
Funny, I've never thought of the manual as difficult. I sure refer to it a lot, though.
