I am looking for a Christmas tree skirt and I haven't found "the one". Any suggestions??? Thanks!

You could use the Giant Dahlia pattern or enlarge the Dresden Plate pattern. The spiral ones are pretty but the ruler is around $30.

Yep, the ruler is the main drawback for this one. I've printed this one out before and then went hunting for that ruler- a bit pricey IF you can find it. Still I may splurge one day.

I have seen tree skirt patterns in two older McCall's Quilting mags that were just a square quilt with a hole cut in the middle and a slit cut to the hole, and ties attached. One had the slit cut from the corner to the center, and another from the middle of the side to the back (so one was "on point" around the tree, and the other sat square to the tree).

I think I'm going to try that for my tree this year.

Thanks so much for the ideas! I really like the spiral one. Its contemporary but I could still use classic fabrics. Thanks again!
