Hi, I just bought featherweight221 and it slows down after I sew a little bit. Can't figure out what's going on! Help

My featherweight was doing exactly the same thing. It would just sew slower and slower and finally quit which is not normal for these machines. I ended up having to have the motor replaced ($125 plus tax) but it sews like a new machine now. If it is a motor, this machine is well worth repairing.
