Thanks to the quilter who recently asked about using pinking shears. I have one & rarely used it. But, the tip about using them on the edge of fabric before washing was a big help. I always dreaded pre-washing because of all the strings and tightly twisted fabric results. Pinking the edges really solved that problem. Now if only I could get one of those big ironers (like the dry cleaners have), I would be flying through the least fun part of quilting. Wow. That would be great!

If u clip a notch in each end of fabric the tends to unravel it will cut it down also
