Question on constructing Apple Core quilt...
I am making an apple core, or double hatchet, quilt and sewing it by hand. My template is 3.5 inches. I have 1 row done. My question is, when I make the 2nd row, do I make it as a row by itself, then sew all the rows together? Or should I attached my 2nd row piece by piece to the 1st row as I go along? Thanks for your help!

When I made my apple core/double hammerhead, I had read a hint that instead constructing the top by sewing long strips together, it's easier to make "blocks" of four pieces each, then sewing four blocks together to make bigger blocks. I do think that was helpful, because at the end I added a long strip and it seemed to take forever.
Hope this shows what I mean:

I have just made a template for an applecore and was going to do it in strips, but I love your idea much better, much more managable than long strips draped all over me!! By the way I love yours very inspirational
