I was wondering if I am the only one that enjoys sometimes buying a panel, especially for childrens quilts, and use my own creativity to add my own blocks and or borders. It seems that most magazines and catalogs now want to only sell the ps

I like to use panels, especially for the guys in my family. There are some great bear, fish, deer, mountains, golf, etc. that make really nice men's quilts.

I'm stumpted also, what is (are) ps?

I just finished a Curious George quilt for my fiance's 3-year-old grandson. I used a panel of CG standing on a ball for the center of the quilt then bordered it with primary colors and CG printed fabric. He absolutely loves it!

I also like to use panels and then design blocks around them to make quilts, especially outdoor and animal prints.
