How are you packaging these to mail to her? I can't bear the thought of squishing it all up to put into an envelope. And -- are you removing the paper? All I ever read says the paper should stay until the blocks are sewn together to protect the bias edges, but the pics here look as if they are without the paper.

Haven't decided yet. Just got the machine I use for PP back from the doctors today. Hopefully I'll be piecing her block today or tomorrow.

I removed the paper and tried to fold it very neatly and posted it from Australia.

I folded mine neatly and put it in a large yellow envelope wrapped in a short note for her and slapped 2 stamps on it to make sure it gets there. I took the paper off when I got ready to sew it together. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay ..................If I had a car I would have driven it over to give to her in person.

I took the paper off mine and I've folded it to put into the envelope.

I took the paper off and folded it gently in tissue paper to mail.

They are PP patterns created by Candlequilter. She is going to use the blocks we make for charity quilts. Gorgeous block but challenging. If you are interested in the pattern, PM Candlequilter.
