I bought the Quilt Design Wizard from Connecting Threads. It was just delivered this afternoon and I have been playing around with it a little bit. I have a question for those who have used it. Are the only color options that I can use the fabric swatches or are there solid colors in the program somewhere? Thanks.

Oh, and so others are aware the software says that it works with Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP. I bought this program with the intention of using it on my desktop computer because it has Windows XP and my laptop has Vista. However, after opening the package the paper inside said something about if you have Vista... So I loaded it onto my laptop, that has Vista and it works just fine.

There are solids. I don't have the program anymore to see how to find them but I know I used solids in it.

What does the Quilt Design Wizard cost? Is it like EQ? I've never heard of it.

It is much cheaper. Also, simpler than EQ. Doesn't have all the same features as EQ. It only cost me $23. I didn't need the super fancy version just something basic to play around on. I also can't afford the other, maybe someday in the future.

Thanks so much for all the help Gale and Up North. Sorry, it took me a while to reply. I am in the process of downloading everything back to 2003.
