years ago, 32, to be exact, I bought a coloring book of Winnie The Pooh, and painted them onto squares, made a baby quilt for my nephew...

would it be against copyright laws to take a coloring book page of Winnie and enlarge him and turn him into fusible applique?

I think it would be fine as long as you don't sell it or use it as a teaching tool. It is your own personal use.

I agree with shaverg . I think it would be fine also. We all do that with the patterns in our quilting magazines right!
