Can someone give me an idea of a quick quilt for a baby? I have Noah's Ark material I want to make the quilt out of. I have made rag quilts and they go pretty fast but thought maybe there would be another pattern that is pretty fast. What do you think of a rag quilt for a baby?? Thanks a bunch for any suggestions you may have.

Don't like them for baby. They tend to chew on quilts. How about big blocks with sashing around them? That would highlight the fabric.

I suggest the 10 minute block.
My sister made this one in just a few hours.

I agree with the 10 - minute block. So quick and easy and looks like you took alot of time. Go to Missouri Star Quilts and they have tut on there.

You can't go wrong with the "warm wishes" quilt

The ten minute block is great using 4 five inch blocks & a six inch block for thr centre. You don't have to use 10 inch blocks. I suggest using a size having the least waste eg. fabric is 42 inches wide then I'd use 6 inch blocks.

You could alternate plain blocks to showcase your ark characters with this tube quilting trick.
