It's good to know there's no right or wrong way then! Gonna start sewing now - you know this is a milestone for me!! I've made quilt blocks (even enough for a queen sized bedspread), I've even started sewing blocks together, but this is the first time I've gotten to the borders. (yay)

I have read that its more pleasing to the eye to put the side borders on first. I never gave it thought till I read but it does seem to look better that way.. JMO

I like to do the sides first, then the top & bottom. It helps to avoid piecing the borders that way since the side pieces don't have to be cut as long.
