Fleece is going to move on you like crazy and if you are already feeling rushed, you are probably going to get caught in a bunch of puckering. I would tie them, either by hand or by machine (doing a bit of stitching in one place then moving to the next spot). You don't have to do a whole lot of it, just enough to hold it.
