I just got my SIL's name for xmas. Thank the Lord above that we are not doing xmas with them until jan 9th!! I want to make her a quilt. Full size bed, she said not patchwork! But I need something simple! Can anyone help???

panels are fast, take five, warm wishes,yellowbrick road, turning twenty , all the BQ maple island ones are fast too.D9p, and all of elenor Burns quilt in a day are fast. I just did a hidden wells ,and a tube quilt from the Missouri quilt company vidieos that was fast as well.Oh and lots of jelly roll patterns are fast too and the Missouri star vidieos have lots for jelly rolls and charm packs.

When she said not patchwork does she mean she doesn't want anything quilted? Ouch.

Pinwheels. Missouri Star Quilts has a tutorial on YouTube on how to do them super fast with squares or charm packs.

That would be my question? I know a number of people who refer to anything quilted as patchwork.

What if you started with a center medallion and then did different rows around it until it was the correct size?

I just finished a Warm Wishes, using a large print as the focal fabric. It went together really quickly. EAch of my blocks was ten inches square.

See....

(The quilt inspector weighs 16 pounds, so he makes the quilt look smaller than it is.)
