Today, my friend and I decided to go to a LQS that has just reopened after having major damage from Hurricane Irene, we just wanted to see what was going on. Well, they had 3 yard cuts of batiks that they were selling for $10.00, rather than the usual $30.00. Of course I had to buy some, decided on 7 of them. By the time I walked back to the car, I said to my friend, I should have got more, I could use it for backs also. She said that she would be happy to go back in the store with me and help me to spend my money! And that I did, 17 more piece. Three loads of laundry later, they are all washed and either on the clothline or the deck railing as I ran out of line space! Now to fine a place to keep them till I can use some!!!

Yes, they have a crib and shelf still very full, still lots of batiks, and also 40's prints. I did not buy any of those as I do not care for them

Your LQS is open on Sundays!!!! How lucky are you!! I usually find myself wanting to browse fabrics on Sundays. I wind up going to Joann's. Not a bad thing, just love my LQS more!
