    Quilt backing

Does anyone have a suggestion on where to buy backing for a King size quilt? I've looked around my area and I haven't found any that I was thrlled with.

I am hoping to not have to piece the back.

Joann's usually carries a small selection of fabrics wide enough to do a king size backing, assuming you might have one nearby.

Look online at Fabric Depot. I got some 118" - unfortunately a polyester blend, but they have many other wide fabrics.

I have bought 108" wide backing from Sew it is and from Craft Town Fabrics and was very impressed with their service. Both have websites and very reasonable prices.

I haven't bought from this website, but it's in my Favorites list from someone's prior post:

    My two favorite places are
Thousands of bolts - one of the best selections
Fabric .com - also a big selection , but do avoid temptation to buy the cheaper ones... they are very thin.

Absolutely, could not agree more! I just recently got the South Seas Imports stuff from Thousands of Bolts. VERY NICE. Bought a 1 yard remnant of the Quilt Traditions flannel wide back they carry, would NOT recommend it.
