I have to make 9 pieced and quilted potholders as favors for a banquet. I would like to make flower patterns as that's the theme of the banquet - springtime. I can't find any I like - even plain 8" block patterns. I would like to do something like tulips and would like to avoid applique. I purchased one from e-patternscentral but am still hoping someone has a pattern I can use. Thanks.

Just a thought here...........could you shrink the February BOM pattern to come out 8 inches? It is a 12 inch PP pattern that goes together fast and easy. To me, it looks tulipy. Check out the links.

The first link is to the pattern and some discussion as to how it goes together.

The second link is to pictures of what the folks here on the board have come up with using the pattern.
