    Yes, I think it is a bowtie block too.

    iT DOES LOOK LIKE BOW TIE, BUT THE CENTER PIECE IS ONE SQUARE AND IN BOW TIE IT WOULD END UP BEING 4 SMALL PIECES

    It is a beautiful quilt.......I really like those colors. I have looked and looked and I am convinced that it is just a bow-tie variant. I could very well be wrong though.

    I agree with the bow tie block and this is a bit of a variation so probably has another name........pretty though........do you know who made it?

    A traditional bow tie block has set-in seams for the center square, not the four piece variation that is now used for quickie blocks. I think this one is a traditional bow tie block.
