Your story Most deffinately pulls on the heart stings. How honored you must feel to create what will be a family heirloom. With no doubt the quilt will hold many memories for the mother who will receive the quilt made from the lives of her grandchildren. God Bless you for your labors that were preformed with much love & respect.

God Bless you.I know it was hard making the quilt. On May 16 the day after my sister turned 56 she was told she had cancer-I made her a quilt and told her I couldn't be with her through her chemo treatments but to hang onto the corner and know I was with her, and I also made her badanas from my whole fabric stash and cried every stitch. Well she got worst and they called and told us to come to the hospital in Richmond,Va at St.Marys. I had never seen a cancer patient only tv and on commercials and Lord was I stunned. It blew my mind and still bothers me to this day. She asked for her blanket and her husband brought it to the hospital and he said she was hanging onto the corner with one hand and holding his with the other when she passed awayJuly 25,2012. He ask me what I wanted him to do with the quilt and I said bury it with her and he did. Every night I go outside and look up at the sky and I talk to her and I tell her I love her and miss her so much.I hope you have a Blessed Christmas and I know the Lord will bless you-you have a heart of gold. God Bless
