Is anyone a member of Fons & Porter Quilters Club of America? I received an email asking me to join. So I was wondering if anyone is a member and your opinions. I enjoy this Quilting Board so much and it's free. So was wondering if the other one was worth the investment.

The good thing with them is that you get to watch tons of videos, included in your membership, Many one Eleanor Burns, Videos, Quilt Out loud, Fons and Porters, and many more.

I am a member. I wanted it for the videos also you get 4 issues of EASY Quilts.I have not decided if I'm going to renew it. I like it ok but I really have gotten more help from the quilting board.

Thanks to both of you for your advice. It has helped.

I am a member. I still have trouble figuring out my way around the site. I did recieve my "free" Easy Quilts magazine this week. There are a lot of discounts available because of membership. One is a 10% discount card for anything in JoAnns. I think it also covers sale items. It does give you access to lots of vidoes etc. I'll let you know when my year is up if I decide to reup.

I joined once but found that it did not include FP videos on their website only on QNN. It's cheaper to join QNN by itself. The benefits of the Quilter's Club were not beneficial to me so I only renew for QNN.

I joined for one year, but I could find a lot of the same information free online, so I let it go.

I was a member for two years. I liked the thread samples they sent, but as for the site, it didn't live up to the built up expectations based on the promos for it. I ended up not using it like I thought. My JoAnn's always hassled me everytime I used the discount card. Got fed up. I don't miss not being a member and in the future would rather use the money for fabric anyway.

However, I had the money at the time and tried it. It wasn't for me, but you may fall in love with it. If you're interested, have the money, and like to site surf, it may well be worth it to you.

I agree. I joined last year but I don't think I will renew.
