Recently I watched a Public Television show with Eleanor Burns on Quilt In A Day. Part of the program included directions for a quilt that was made in a tube. A tube of fabric was made and then the tube was cut into strips. I would so appreciate it if anyone has seen this quilt and might know where I could find this pattern. Thanks so much!

Was it the Quick Trip quilt? I have that book. When you sew the strips together there's no matching of seams. I can't wait to make one of these. Go to the Quilt In a Day website and you can find all Eleanor's books.

This is E. Burns method for the Trip Around The World Quilt.
It is not a tube quilt. Works great, I made a lap quilt with her instructions, made it really easy.

It sounds like her Quick Trip pattern. Here is a link to her videos. They are the last two in the bottom row:

Thanks so much for all the information. I already have the strips cut for this quilt.
