I just Quilt Design Wizard from Joanns.com. I can't wait to play around with it. Does anyone else have this program?

What do you like about it?

Any tips?

It is great for sizing blocks. You can also see what a quilt will look like when you use different style blocks togather. I like it alot. Be sure and print out the instructions so you can refer back as you do forget if you dont use it all the time.
Also the website gives a free pattern every month. Go to the link button.
You will have lots of fun.

i have it and play around with it a little bit. it's fun downloading the projects and fabrics and such. haven't designed anything with it yet, though. right now i'm using it to try and see what an irish chain quilt will look like with the fabrics i've chosen. they have some pretty close matches in the fabrics in the software. just have to get the design correct and i ran out of time yesterday.

I dont try to match fabrics but I do use solid colors to see how they will look togather.
It is amazing how different blocks can look togather in a layout.
Wizard is a great tool.

Turtle...I have one and love it too! I love the fact when needing a pattern I just zip in there pull it up and print...and, it will do paper piecing too. You just get in there and play around...the best way to figure it out !! Skeat

I love is so far. I have already designed my first quilt using it. It's going to be a scrappy quilt. So I was able to just put the colors in as black, gray and white. How simple is that to follow.

Now if I could just finish all my 1,000 of already started projects I can't wait to work on it.
