Default Quilt Expo classes & Mary Jo's in NC questions

My sister and I are are going to our 3rd Raleigh Quilt/Sew Expo and are taking 2 classes. The machines are provided- Janomes for one and Phaffs for the other. Should I take my tiny iron and flat board or do they have ironing stations? Any other suggestions you might have are appreciated. I've taken several LQS classes, but this is a first for us. We're also doing a 2 day trip to Charlotte area to go to Mary Jo's for the first time. Also Anyone have any advice besides don't overbuy? What are the do not miss areas? Thanks for any and all advice and suggestions!

Ironing stations are provided. There will also be thread. It is Coats. Some bring their own thread. Machines will be threaded and ready to go.

In regards to stopping at Mary Jo's: Budget yourself plenty of time to see everything!!! When we drove to Hilton Head last fall, we altered our route so I could go to Mary Jo's. I only had about 1 1/2 hours to shop there. It wasn't enough time! I didn't get to wander the entire store and missed a lot. I felt rushed to make my selections. Also, they tear the fabric which I absolutely HATE! I added a 1/4 yd to all my selections so I could get rid of the stretched, warped edges. Enjoy yourself!!!

Be sure to look at the clearance section. I got tons of fabric for $2.99 a yard.
