I received a forwarded copy of an email today that originated from the organizer of the quilt show in Sisters. Apparently someone found a quilt on the highway after the quilt show this year, near the Chevron filling station and MacDonalds, and is holding it for the owner to identify. If you lost a quilt, or know someone who did, please PM me and I will PM you the contact information. (I don't feel comfortable posting someone else's contact information here.)

I can't verify this information, but it seems genuine. I did check snopes before posting.

How sad and sick someone is feeling at this point. Hope it's returned. Perhaps a found ad could be placed in several newspapers or contact the Sisters Quilt show to further advance the found quilt detail.

That is a total bummer. Hope they locate the owner. If not, I will be going to see my kids and almost always make a potty stop at that station!! Seriously though, I missed the quilt show this year. But it is always great!!

That is horrible. I'm just glad whoever found it had the common sense to try to find the owner.

I'm sure if someone lost a quilt they would be getting a hold of the organizers or Sisters quilt shop...
I am sure the owner will be found quilckly...
I hope...

Another reason to microchip your quilts. Hope the owner is found.
