does anybody know know what this is?

i came upon some info accidentally. i don't know what it does, do you?
if anyone here uses it, why do you? or if not, why don't you?
what is it's charm? it's disadvantages?

You are printing youe shapes directly on the back side of your fabric, using her templates.

so many free graph paper sites and other ways to get shapes, If you hapen to have a printer that uses ink that does not wash out well, you could be in trouble.

I have seen this too and for some blocks it may be worth checking into because of the accuracy you can achieve. I liked that the seam allowances were printed out too. A little too pricey for me, but I would think that you could do the same thing if you had EQ or any other quilt program.

i've looked at this product from time to time but i just don't trace alot of shapes onto my fabric.

i think if you find yourself tracing out triangles and what not on your fabric it would be worth the investment.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like you could (if you wanted to) just draw your shape many times on a sheet of freezer paper, iron it to your fabric, layer lots of layers of fabric and cut from there. is that right?

that seems the only thing worth while - that time-saving tip.

by the way, the prices don't seem outrageous to me. Cutting, either scissor or rotary, is a pain in the patootie. anything that makes that more efficient and more accurate is well worth some money. and if anyone pays for patterns, consider that one $30 cd pays for only a few patterns. so you get a lot more for that money, i think.

p.s. i'm not getting it. just stealing the idea.
