I have just received an e-mail from one of the ladies from the guild thanking me for help and diving right in. That is so sweet. It made my day. I really did not do much just held up some quilts and carried some books. What a lovely bunch of quilters.

I just have to add one little bit. I have not been a member for more than a day and it already payed off. I met people that are just like me, busy moms juggling million things all at once and still have time for quilting.

I am thrilled for you! My guild meeting is one of the highlights of my month. I have met so many wonderful people that I now call friends. We, too, have a retreat in March that I love! I know you will have a great experience at your retreat!

I'm glad you went and posted an update. After reading the original post, I didn't want to be left hanging. I have been thinking about joining a guild. Maybe this will help me get off my rear end and find one. So happy for you that you had such a positive experience. I kinda suspected you would enjoy yourself.
    thanks for sharing.

So glad you went and had a great time and felt welcomed. I love going to guild every month and we have a great group of ladies. Going to a retreat is a fun thing to do and you will enjoy seeing what other gals are working on. I am glad you are making some time for yourself as a young Mom. I think everyone deserves a break.
    This too shall pass.
