    quilt kits

I am ordering a kit from Collecting Threads. Do you think I should order extra fabric in case I cut it wrong. Never ordered from them before. I order fabric and never get to sew due to my health. This quilt will be a Xmas gift so I will start it right away. Never did a quilt from a kit.

I've heard that Connecting Threads is very generous with the fabric provided in their kits.

Their kits are very generous. Have a friend who can get extra projects out of leftovers from a kit. Love their fabric

I've been buying the mini quilt kits from Connecting Threads and some of them have enough fabric to make two of the quilts. They are very generous.

I purchased a kit from them last year to make for last Christmas and I didn't need extra fabric except what I purchased for the backing from them. I just took my time cutting and double checking everything in the directions. Measure twice, cut once. It was the first kit I ever bought and it came out great. Good luck with yours!!

I've always found their kits to be generous, too.

I've been able to enlarge several of their throw sized kits to queen sized without having to purchase additional fabric. They are very generous.

I also have heard they are generous with their kits but I have never bought a kit before. I have TOO BIG of a stash.

Love the fabric and there is always enough for the quilt with leftovers for a table topper to match the quilt. They are super people.
