I picked up a quilt magazine in Feb, it could be a March issue, I am not sure. I can't remember which one though. In it there was a pattern for a wall hanging. It had an appliqued house in the middle and appliqued flowers around the border. There was also stitching with words on and I am not sure what they were. I bought the material and now I can't find the pattern. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Sorry, I checked but I don't have it. But then I didn't buy that many magazines this year.

Good luck.

Don't you just hate that. I do something similar - When I see a quilt i like, I buy the fabric and then can't remember which pattern it was for.

Sorry, this is a bit off topic, but it's still in the "help me" catagory... I have been going through old magazines for a really completed look for a wall hanging called.. Bloom. It sounds rather like what you were looking for, I have it in it's bag all ready to cut, possibly, if you do not find what you want and I would be happy to send it to you.

Anyway, I found this adorable paper piece block and it was named "Humming Bird Block". The one in this particular book is shown as a paper piece . I am not crazy about paper completely being used in blocks and then having to tear them out somehow. but after looking at this block,I really need it. Hss anyone done one of these Humming Bird blocks that was NOT paper piece, and if so, could or any one send me patterns or even a small sign that i can clean up and use it in my

Is that it?

Still looking for the pattern just seen the picture!

ETA: If you scroll down on this website it is listed there but I don't know if it is the finished quilt or the pattern that you would be buying or how much it would be but there is at least a little bit of info!

By the way, welcome to the forum!

It was 45 x45 I think. The outer border was a beige on beige but darker than the middle beige on beige. There was some rick-rack put along the edge between borders . It called for felted wool for the appliques. That is about all I can remember. Thanks for looking I do appreciate the help.
