Thread: Quilt Label?

Making a quilt for a baby shower. Any idea what I can put on the label for the baby that hasn't arrived yet.

When I make a custom label, sometimes I take my cue on what the top looks like. For example if the fabric in the top has teddy bears, I'll make a teddy bear label. Or if the fabric has balloons on it, I'll put balloons on the label.

You mean like the name?? It could be like "Baby 'last name'"

Why not make a label with something like:

Especially for _____________________________

Born ____________________ at _______________(for time)

Length _____________________________________

Weight _____________________________________

Made with love by...

You could put some other sentiment (i.e. "Our little bundle of joy" "Our blessing from above" etc.)

Use a perma pen to fill in the blanks after the baby is born.

Another idea would be to complete the quilt and add the label later.
