Now ya'll might already know this, but I wanted to share it with ya in case you didn't.

I found this youtube video on how to make quilt labels with word.

I did a test to see if colored ink would stay in, it didn't :( but the black did. Here's my samples. Second picture is the ms word document (converted to jpg) and the first one is my fabric that I did this on.

I thought this would be great for those who might not have an embroidery machine.

It is a good idea but, you have to make sure that everything holds together,you can damage your printer if any of the layers seperate. It happened to me ages ago wrecked the printer. I make my labels with A4 printable fabric sheets.
