Help. I know how to make t-shirt quilts, but my girlfriend's husband recently passed and she would like me to make a quilt from his polo golf shirts...does anyone have a pattern or some ideas for me. Thanks!

I would use the same principle as for making a tshirt quilt, use a light weight fusible stabilizer.
Do these shirts have any screen printing, or are they just stripes and solid colors?

My daughter asked me to use a couple of polo shirts in her t-shirt quilt. shw wanted the fronts and so i closed the neck placket with the buttons and sewed it closed on the open side (hope this makes sense). Then i just cut it like a normal t-shirt for a t-shirt quilt.

Hope this helps!

Sorry I am confused. What about the collar? Does it stick up? What do you do with it? Thanks for your help.

The shirts are just plain or striped. What about the collars?
