DH & I were at Sam's Club today and I always have to go into the book section. LOL For the first time, I noticed the sign by the magazines that say 'at least 30% off cover price'. So I bought a $6.99 Quilter's Magazine that only cost $4.86. There were about 4-5 quilting magazines.

I had to share!

Sam's is much cheaper than Walmart. They are starting to carry a variety of quilt magazines. As high as prices are today, every penny counts, more money for fabric and thread.

That's handy to know. I wonder if it's true of Cosco. I have a membership to Cosco not Sam's Club. I usually use a coupon at JoAnn's. I'm trying to curb my addiction to the magazines but it's hard.

Local Sam's Club has carried quilting magazines for a couple of years. They have good selection and lot of copies. I have not seem them at Cosco.
I limit myself to one magazine every few months.

Rats! I just came from there and I didn't see any signs. I found one magazine that I'd love to have had but it was priced 10.99. That's too rich for my blood--trust me. I'll have to go back and ask them so I can buy a few of them next time. Thanks for the tip! :)

I buy lots of books there but never noticed the sign about the magazines. I will have to look the next time I am in there. Thanks for the info.
