Default Quilt for my sister.

Last month, one of my sisters was scheduled for tests on her heart. I had a nagging feeling that kept saying, "You should make a quilt for her". I became obsessed and worked for 8 to 10 hours a day for several days to finish a quilt to use in the hospital. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital last year and was always cold until I had my family bring me one of my quilts.

I finished the binding at midnight the night before the tests. I walked into her room with another sister and asked her how she was. She said she was cold. So I pulled the quilt out of the bag I had brought it in. She was thrilled.
Here is a picture of the quilt. It is 60 x 80 inches, sort of between a lap quilt and a bed quilt.

What a nice thing that you did for her. Why are hospital and dr. office's so cold? Doesn't make any sense when you are sick to be cold!! Really like the quilt and pattern and also that you used some scraps.

You were wonderful to do that for your sister. Every time she look's at it she will remember your love for her.
