I have a 27 yr old son that I would like to make a quilt for. Can anyone give me suggestions for a quilt pattern?
He lives in College Park Md and I would like to have this completed by his birthday and sent to him. His birthday is November 3rd. I think that will give me enough time to work on it and complete it.
I need some ideas that will be good for a single male adults room.

Stars, leaves, anything in dark or fall colors should work. Maybe card trick or jacobs ladder.

Julie of Off the Wall Quilting sent me a great pattern for a simple Bargello black and red only four colors, it looks great and would be great for a young man.

Does he have any hobbies or favorite sports team? You could make a quilt representing one/some of his favorite pass times.

An Amish design called Roman Stripe in solids might be a good choice.

My son is getting a denim & plaid flannel quilt this Christmas. I got lucky and found a huge bag of precut blocks to make it from. Only cost me $5.50..... And saved me tons of work! I think he'll really like it.

Well, To describe my son, He is a free spirit, semi-hippie type of person, Very laid back and single. I have not seen his new place in Md however he has told me that the walls are shade of Blue,He bought Green sheets for his bed, and a female friend of his made him purple curtains...I know Not colors most of us would choose, but him and his friends use whatever they have which is great.Where can I find that Bargello pattern?
