Default Do you own a Mangna Hoop?

I have an embroidery sewing machine and would like to try the magna hoops. However, I have heard that you shouldn't use magnetic hoops with a machine that is computerized. Is this true? I do not want anything to happen to my machine, but the magneteic hoops look so easy to use. Any advice?

I have one and used it twice. My advice don't waste your money.

I had one and never used it-you have to be careful in sizing a design to not hit the hoop-that is what I read some where-so I was afraid to use it.

I had one and I used it maybe a couple of times. You lose some of your embroidery area and you have to be careful that the magnets don't hit the presser foot. The magnets aren't strong enough to hurt your machine or so I was told by the dealer. Also, I found the magnets not strong enough to actually hold the fabric in the frame. JMO

I was told it wouldn't work on my machine because of the computerization of my machine.
